Liz Theoharis co-led a powerful presentation titled “Consecrating the Poor People’s Campaign,” which laid the spiritual groundwork for what would soon become the national Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. The movement officially launched on Mother’s Day, May 13–14, 2018, ushering in “40 Days of Action” marked by nonviolent demonstrations at state capitols and in Washington, D.C
