Part 2: An ask for help-Live dispatch from Ukraine
" Please don't forget us"....Live interview-- on KZYX-Z Radio Tues. March 10 PST
No substantial breakthroughs have occurred from yet another set of high-level meetings between Ukraine-Russia. In the meantime as we keep our vision, prayers and thoughts for this horrible situation to end peacefully, here is a special dispatch from Ukraine with an ask for help.
Public Radio connects and informs communities locally and around the world.
Thanks to the power of collaboration with KZYX-Z public radio and Wild Oak Living radio program host Johanna “WildOak”, a direct linkage from one community in the Ukraine to our community of listeners here in Mendocino County and beyond graced the airwaves this morning.
Johanna and I were honored to be able to bring the direct experience of what is happening on the ground in one town in Western Ukraine through a live interview with a courageous woman as she and her country are grappling with being thrust into a state of war.
To listen to this poignant discussion— and maybe see what ideas resonate with you on how to help— please go to the KZYX Jukebox (archives ) link here:

Johanna and I welcome your ideas and especially on how to coordinate or fund raise to get direct aid to help the people in the area of Kopychyntsi, Ukraine as they deal with short term and long term needs. I will serve as the link to our contact there.
